Parmesan-Roasted Broccoli



I decided to start small, so I went with a little side dish of broccoli. I have recently started roasting vegetables at home with olive oil, salt and pepper, so I was excited to try Ina’s version of roasted broccoli. I don’t think I have ever seen so many ingredients in a recipe for roasted veggies. Ina includes my standard ingredients and sliced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, pine nuts, parmesan and julienned basil. I liked the addition of sliced garlic to the roasting pan, but for me, all of the other ingredients were just too much for me. On the contrary, my husband loved all of the extra flavors and textures.
